When someone donates to your Campaign, the donation may not immediately show up in the Donor Feed or the amount raised. To ensure that donations are processed correctly and that your Campaign Page can withstand high amounts of traffic, each donation is placed in a queue. Our system will go through this queue every 5 minutes to update your Campaign Page, resulting in a 5-10 minute delay.
How can I verify that a donation was successful?
If you still don’t see the donation after the delay has passed, you may want to confirm whether the donation was successful:
- Ask the donor if they have received a confirmation email for their donation. Let them know to check both their inbox and spam folders. Automated emails can sometimes be routed to spam folders depending on the security settings of the recipient’s email account.
- Search for the donation in your View Donations report.
What should I do if a donation doesn’t appear after the delay?
If the donor cannot find the confirmation email, and you do not see their donation in the report, the transaction did not go through. Please ask the donor to retry their donation.

First, ask the donor if they received a confirmation email (including checking their spam folder). If they didn’t receive a confirmation and the donation doesn’t appear in your View Donations report, the transaction didn’t go through and they should retry their donation.
Can I resend a confirmation receipt if the donor didn’t receive it?
