GalaBid offers a $0 “Free with tipping” plan that is funded by suggested tips from your donors at checkout. The tip-free alternatives are a 4.9% Pro platform fee or a flat $1,250 per campaign, plus Stripe processing at 2.9% + $0.30. RallyUp’s free plan also carries a 0% platform fee with optional donor tips, and RallyUp Donation Pages go further: no platform fee and no donor tipping required at all. Not as a complete in-product format. GalaBid runs raffles with a certified random one-click draw, but for 50/50 it states that the winner’s half is distributed outside of GalaBid — there is no in-product split and no live prize total on the page. RallyUp runs 50/50 and Enhanced 50/50 natively with your own split, such as 60/40, draws the winner automatically inside the platform, and displays the winner’s live prize total on the campaign page as entries sell. Raffle rules vary by state and locality, so check your local guidance before selling entries.

There is no sandbox on GalaBid. Its documented test method is to take a real donation on your live campaign, verify the payment in Stripe, then refund it and hide the test item — meaning your campaign is already published while you are checking it. RallyUp’s Power Preview does the opposite: real test card transactions run through actual checkout on a draft campaign, including test bids on auction items, with all test data deleted automatically when you publish. It is available on every RallyUp plan, including Free, though only card transactions can be simulated today.

RallyUp runs more of the night. Event Balances give each guest one tab all night that settles in a single charge, with line-free checkout that is instant or fully automatic, alongside auctioneer-led Live Auction, Paddle Raise+, Fund-a-Need and Live Display. GalaBid supports paddle raise and leaderboard displays, and its live auction items show online with the winning bid entered after the auctioneer finishes, but a single end-of-night charge is not stated. RallyUp teams can also rehearse the entire event with volunteers in Power Preview before the campaign is ever published.
