How we came to be
In 2013, RallyUp’s founder, Steve, was serving as a volunteer with his local youth group. When it came time to raise funds for the kids to go to summer camp, he discovered just how difficult it was to fundraise online.
Steve searched high and low, but he couldn’t find a platform that had the capabilities he was looking for. He wanted one that engaged donors, had lots of different fundraising options and was simple and fun to use.
When he started to talk to people in the nonprofit world, he realized his problem wasn’t unique – no one had found the platform they all wished for. That’s when Steve decided to make RallyUp a reality.
