Edit a donation, view or print your receipt, find entry numbers, and update your personal information after a transaction is made.
If you’ve recently made a donation to a RallyUp fundraiser but would like to edit it, you can easily make the following changes:
- Who receives credit for a Peer-to-Peer donation
- A-Thon per-unit pledge amounts
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- Responses in custom fields
- Donation honoree (also called your display name — the name shown in the public activity feed)
Note: The ability to update your donation honoree/display name depends on whether the Campaign Organizer has enabled donor privacy settings for the campaign. If this option is not available to you, contact the Campaign Organizer directly.
How do I edit my donation after making it?
- Go to rallyup.com and log into your account.
- Click on the circle with your initials in the upper right corner of the screen, then select My Account.
- Go to the My Donations tab and find the donation you’d like to update.
- Hover over the donation and click on the three-dot icon on the right.
- Select Edit Transaction.
- Change the information you want and select Save:
To change the donation honoree (your display name), check the box next to Make this transaction in the name of someone else and enter the name you’d like displayed publicly.
How do I cancel a donation?
If you’re trying to cancel or refund a donation, you’ll need to contact the Campaign Organizer. You can do that by going to the Campaign Page and selecting the Contact Organizer button in the bottom right corner of your screen.
How do I review my receipt or Raffle/Sweepstakes entry numbers?
Click on the three-dot icon and select View Receipt. The receipt will contain the entry numbers associated with your purchase.

What information can I edit after making a donation?
You can change who receives credit for Peer-to-Peer donations, A-Thon per-unit pledge amounts, your mailing address, phone number, custom field responses, and your donation honoree (also called your display name). You cannot change the donation amount or payment method yourself.
Can I change my display name or the name shown in the activity feed?
Your display name is controlled by the donation honoree field. To update it, log into your account, go to My Donations, select Edit Transaction, and check the box next to Make this transaction in the name of someone else to enter a new name. This option is only available if the Campaign Organizer has enabled donor privacy settings. If you don’t see this option, contact the Campaign Organizer and ask them to enable it.
How do I cancel or get a refund for my donation?
To cancel or refund a donation, contact the Campaign Organizer directly. Go to the Campaign Page and click the Contact Organizer button in the bottom right corner to send them a message.
Where can I find my receipt and entry numbers?
Log into your account, go to the My Donations tab, hover over your donation, and click the three-dot icon. Select View Receipt to see your receipt with all entry numbers associated with your purchase.
Can I change who receives credit for my Peer-to-Peer donation?
Yes, you can reassign credit for Peer-to-Peer donations. Log into your account, go to My Donations, select Edit Transaction, and change who receives credit for your contribution.
Do I need a RallyUp account to edit my donation?
Yes, you need to create or log into a RallyUp account to edit donation details. Your account gives you access to all your donation history and the ability to make changes to your donation.
