How-to: Reorder Your Campaign Items

Update the order in which your prizes, registrations, or other items are listed on your Campaign Page.

RallyUp allows you to reorder your Campaign items at any time, even if your fundraiser is already live. You can do this for:

  • Raffle or Sweepstakes prizes
  • Auction or Storefront items
  • Peer-to-Peer or A-Thon registration options and prizes
  • Ticketing & Registration tickets and tables

Why would I want to reorder items on my Campaign Page?

Strategic item ordering can significantly impact supporter engagement and donations:

  • Placing your most attractive or valuable prizes at the top draws immediate attention and encourages participation.
  • You might want to feature newly added items prominently or move popular items higher based on supporter interest.
  • For Auctions, positioning high-demand items first can generate excitement and set the tone for the entire catalog.
  • Ticketing & Registration Campaigns benefit from displaying VIP or early-bird options at the top before general admission.
  • Some organizations reorder items based on availability, moving sold-out or fully claimed items to the bottom.
  • Item order also affects mobile browsing where supporters see fewer items at once, making top positions even more valuable for engagement.

How do I reorder items on my Campaign Page?

  1. Go to Account Navigation in the left menu and select Campaigns.
  2. If you have chosen a list view, click on the Campaign title. If you have chosen a grid view, click on the Campaign image.
  3. Select Campaign Setup.
  4. Go to the relevant section in the timeline at the top (e.g., to reorder Raffle prizes, go to Raffle).
  5. Scroll down to where your items are listed.
  6. Click and drag the item you want to move up or down to the location you would like it to appear.
  7. Select Save.

Changes take effect immediately on your live Campaign Page. You can reorder items as many times as needed throughout your Campaign to optimize supporter engagement.


Can I reorder different types of items separately?

Yes, each category of items has its own ordering system. Raffle prizes are reordered separately from Auction items, which are reordered separately from tickets. This means you manage the order within each Campaign component independently through that component’s specific section in Campaign Setup.

For example, if you have both a Raffle and an Auction in the same Campaign, you reorder your Raffle prizes in the Raffle section and your Auction items in the Auction section. The order of items within each Component doesn’t affect other Components, giving you precise control over how each type of item displays to supporters.


Does item order affect how items appear in search or filters?

Item order you set manually takes precedence over default sorting in most Campaign views. When supporters browse your Campaign Page without applying filters, they see items in the order you specified.

However, if your Campaign includes sorting or filtering options that supporters can control, those selections may override your manual ordering. For instance, if a supporter sorts Auction items by highest bid or filters to show only specific prize categories, the display order changes to match their selection.

Your manual ordering serves as the default view that supporters see when they first visit your Campaign Page or when no filters are applied.


What happens if I add new items after ordering existing ones?

When you add new items to your Campaign, they typically appear at the end of your existing list. This means your carefully ordered items remain in their positions, and new additions simply extend the list. You can then drag the new items to your preferred positions within the existing order. This behavior prevents disruption to your established item hierarchy when expanding your Campaign.

After adding new items, review your item order to ensure the most strategic items remain prominently positioned, especially if you’ve added high-value or time-sensitive offerings.

Can I reorder items while my Campaign is live?

Yes, you can reorder items anytime during your Campaign, including while supporters are actively viewing and engaging with your Campaign Page. Changes save and display immediately when you click Save. This flexibility allows you to respond to real-time Campaign performance, such as moving popular items higher or repositioning items based on supporter feedback. There’s no need to pause or unpublish your Campaign to make ordering changes.

Does reordering items affect mobile vs desktop display?

The item order you set applies to both desktop and mobile views of your Campaign Page. However, mobile devices display fewer items on screen at once, making your top-positioned items even more critical for mobile engagement. Items appear in the same sequence on all devices, but mobile users are less likely to scroll through long lists, so strategic positioning of your best items at the top becomes particularly important for mobile conversion rates.

Can I set different item orders for different audiences?

No, the item order you set applies universally to all supporters viewing your Campaign Page. You cannot create custom item arrangements for different user groups or segments. All supporters see items in the same order you configure in Campaign Setup. If you need to feature different items to different audiences, consider creating separate Campaigns targeted to specific supporter groups.

Will reordering items affect my Campaign analytics or reporting?

No, reordering items does not change or reset any Campaign data, analytics, or reports. Your entry sales, bid history, donation totals, and all other metrics remain unchanged. Item order is purely a display setting that affects how items appear to supporters, not how data is tracked or reported.

If you want to analyze which items perform best after reordering, compare engagement metrics before and after your changes to identify whether positioning impacts performance.

Can I bulk reorder items or do I need to drag each one individually?

Currently, items must be reordered individually using the drag-and-drop interface. There is no bulk reordering feature that allows you to set positions for multiple items simultaneously or upload a new order via spreadsheet. For Campaigns with many items, plan your ideal order before beginning the reordering process to minimize time spent dragging items. Consider grouping similar items together during initial creation to reduce reordering needs later.
