Add a shipping charge to each Storefront item purchase to offset fundraising costs.
Running a Storefront may involve shipping the items sold to your donors, which will incur shipping costs. RallyUp allows you to offset these costs by adding a flat shipping charge that will be automatically added to each donor’s total purchase, regardless of how many items they buy.

Note that RallyUp applies a single flat shipping charge per transaction – you cannot set variable shipping costs based on item size, weight, or destination. Additionally, shipping charges are not available for Advocate or Corporate Social Responsibility Campaigns.
How do I add a shipping charge to Storefront items?
- Go to Account Navigation in the left menu and select Campaigns.
- If you have chosen a list view, click on the Campaign title. If you have chosen a grid view, click on the Campaign image.
- Select Campaign Setup.
- Go to Storefront in the timeline at the top.
- Scroll down to Optional settings and select Show optional settings.
- Scroll down to Do you want to add a shipping cost to item purchases?:

- Check the box and add your shipping cost amount, then select Save.
How do I collect and require shipping addresses from buyers?
If you’re shipping physical items to your Storefront buyers, you’ll want to collect a mailing address at checkout. You can enable this in Campaign Setup, and make it required so buyers can’t complete a purchase without providing one.
- Go to Account Navigation in the left menu and select Campaigns.
- If you’re in list view, click the Campaign title. If you’re in grid view, click the Campaign image.
- Select Campaign Setup.
- Go to Checkout in the timeline at the top.
- Scroll down to Optional settings and select Show Optional settings.
- Scroll down to the Mailing address setting and check the box to enable it.
- To require the address, check the Required checkbox next to the Mailing address setting.
- Select Save.
Buyers will now see a mailing address field at checkout. If you enabled Required, they won’t be able to complete their purchase without filling it in.
