Customize the link to your Campaign Page to make it easier for donors to remember.
Every RallyUp Campaign Page receives a unique link that you can customize to make it easy to recognize and remember, which may help attract more donors.
Why would I customize my Campaign link?
Customizing your Campaign link makes it easier for donors to recognize and remember your fundraiser’s web address. A personalized, memorable link can help attract more donors by making it simpler to share and access your Campaign Page. Instead of a generic URL with random characters, you can create a custom link that reflects your organization, event, or cause, making it more professional and easier to promote across social media, emails, and other marketing channels.
How do I customize my Campaign link?
- Go to Account Navigation in the left menu and select Campaigns.
- If you have chosen a list view, click on the Campaign title. If you have chosen a grid view, click on the Campaign image.
- Select Campaign Setup.
- Go to Page Design in the timeline at the top and select Expand optional settings.
- Scroll down to Personalize the link to your campaign page:

- Enter a unique and easy to remember phrase into the text box, such as galaforkids, golf2024, schoolbakesale, etc.
- Select VALIDATE to see if your link is available. If not, try another until your link is successfully validated.
- Select Save.
What should I know before changing my Campaign link?
Before customizing your Campaign link, it’s important to understand that changing your Campaign link while your fundraiser is active will prevent people with the previous link from accessing your Campaign. We recommend deciding on your unique link before going live to avoid disrupting access for donors who may have already bookmarked or saved your original URL.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Campaign link?
A Campaign link is the unique web address (URL) that directs people to your RallyUp Campaign Page. Every Campaign automatically receives a link when created, but you have the option to customize this link to make it more memorable and easier to share. A customized Campaign link typically reflects your organization, event name, or cause, making it more recognizable to potential donors.
What happens if I change my Campaign link after going live?
Changing your Campaign link while your fundraiser is active will prevent people with the previous link from accessing your Campaign. Anyone who bookmarked, saved, or shared the old link will no longer be able to reach your Campaign Page using that URL. For this reason, we strongly recommend deciding on your unique link before going live to ensure consistent access for all your donors and avoid confusion.
What if my desired Campaign link is not available?
If your desired Campaign link is already being used by another Campaign, you’ll need to choose a different phrase. After entering your preferred link, select “VALIDATE” to check if it’s available. If it’s not available, try variations such as adding the year, your organization name, or other identifying details until you find a link that is successfully validated. Keep trying different options until you create a unique link that works for your Campaign.
What are some examples of good Campaign links?
Good Campaign links are short, memorable, and descriptive of your event or cause. Examples include phrases like galaforkids, golf2024, schoolbakesale, fallauction, or summerfundrun. Choose something that clearly identifies your fundraiser, is easy to spell and remember, and reflects your organization or event name. Avoid using special characters or overly complex phrases that might be difficult for donors to type or recall.
