Time to spin the big wheel on your next Raffle or Sweepstakes and land on the Right Entry Price
We are here to help you set the Right Entry Price for your Raffles and Sweepstakes. Setting the right Entry Price will help encourage your supporters to participate in the hopes of winning your prize.
We cannot give you exact pricing recommendations, but we often see these tactics setting organizations up for success:
1. Tiered pricing
Set higher Entry Levels with lower costs per entry, incentivizing supporters to enter more.
For example, you can set 10 entries for $10 (which equals $1 per entry), and then set 30 entries for $25 (which equals $.83 per entry), and so on!
2. Merchandising
Offer different Merchandise at higher donation levels to help increase donations because everyone wants to buy your merch! For example, you can offer a custom key chain for $7, a signed poster for $14 and keep going! “What are they gonna bid on fellers?” – They’re gonna bid on your Merch!
3. Impact Levels
Show your donors how their donations are making a difference with Impact Levels. For example, Level 1 could be: “fund a child’s swimming lessons for a month”, Level 2: “provide disaster relief for a family” and Level 3: “fund a month of Alzheimer’s research”.
When donors see how they are helping, they want to join your superhero team and give more!
4. Limited quantities
Limit how much Merchandise is available at different Entry Levels or limit the number of donors who can purchase at specific Entry Levels. This creates urgency and inspires donors to participate.
5. Limited time
Offer Early Bird entries or set a limited time for different Entry Levels to get donors to jump up and act quickly.
